Welcome all to the USS Phoenix. A ship of great opportunity. I'm glad that you all decided to come aboard the great ship and I know that you'll be a great crew. This is the first of many sim reports. Sim reports come out every week and are basically to give a summary of everything that's happened in the past week and to give new people a basic understanding of the current plot. We had a great week this week. Let's keep up the excellent amount of logging.

 

2. Promotions/Academy/Awards

 

Promotions:

Cadets 1st Class Emily Lankowsky and Julie Mitchells are both promoted to Cadet 2nd class.

Only 2 more weeks of logging until you're both Ensigns. Keep up the good work

Academy:

In a few weeks, I plan on attempting to join a simming organization named UCIP (United Confederation of Planets). They have numerous academy courses that are at your disposal. While you won't be able to take the course until we are members of UCIP, it can't hurt to look over them. The address is http://www.ucip.org/academy

 

3. Mission Summary/Quotes of the Week

 

The Phoenix makes her first test flight. Many of the crew have yet to arrive but the officers that are already onboard make themselves at home. The captain enjoys a flight over while other officers arrive and examine their posts. Once the final transport for the week leaves, Captain Talon takes the ship out for the first test flight. The test flight is very successful in that all of the systems tested work perfectly, including the still experimental multi-vector assault mode and the landing systems. The Phoenix is currently landed on an uninhabited M class planet. Some personnel tests may also be in the future.
